Terms & Conditions for SMS Marketing

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern how MCR Consultants also known as MCR Tax Pros (“we,” “our,” or “us”) uses SMS/text messaging to communicate with you. By opting in to receive SMS communications from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. SMS Program Description

If you voluntarily provide your mobile telephone number and opt in to receive text messages from MCR Tax Pros, we may use your mobile number to send the communications for which you have provided consent.

MCR Tax Pros does not sell or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS messages may include tax-service updates, appointment reminders, document requests, account notifications, customer support communications, important service notifications, and promotional messages, depending on the messaging program to which you opted in.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.

SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving tax preparation services from MCR Tax Pros.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By opting in, you confirm that:

You are the account holder or have permission to use the phone number provided.
You understand that consent to receive SMS messages is not required to purchase any product or service.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our business.
Generally, you can expect:

Appointment & service updates as needed
Promotional messages up to 4 times per month (not guaranteed, but common)

We reserve the right to increase or decrease frequency based on service needs.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by texting:

After you send STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again.

5. Costs & Charges

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
You are responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.

6. Data Collection & Privacy

Your information (including your phone number) will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We will never:

Sell your phone number
Share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing
Violate carrier, federal, or state compliance regulations

We may share your number only with third-party service providers who help us send SMS messages (e.g., Twilio, SimpleTexting, EZTexting, Klaviyo).

7. Carrier Liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others.
Carrier support may vary.

9. Eligibility

To use our SMS services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Provide a valid mobile phone number
Reside in the United States

10. Service Availability

SMS delivery may be affected by:

Carrier issues
Mobile device limitations
Signal availability
Third-party technical problems

We are not responsible for delays or disruptions outside our control.

11. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
Your continued participation in the SMS program constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
